Oracle, the tech company of Larry Ellison, the world’s sixth richest businessman, has fired about 30 thousand employees. Of these, there are 12 thousand employees from India. According to media reports, the company may also start the second round of layoffs next month.

Employees received termination letters in their inboxes at 6 am on Tuesday, March 31. It was written in it that today is his last working day. Within minutes his system access was cut off. The company has not yet given the reason for the layoff.

According to India Today, Oracle wrote in a mail to 30 thousand employees-

We want to give you an important and difficult information related to your post. Keeping in mind the current needs of the company, we have decided to eliminate your position as part of a major change in the organization. So today is your last working day.

We thank you for your contribution, hard work and work. After signing the termination documents, you will be eligible to receive a severance package as per the company’s terms and conditions. You will receive information about this on your Oracle email through DocuSign.

You will need to provide your personal email address to receive further important information, FAQs and documents. Please submit your personal email immediately. If any mistake is made, you can fill a new form. This email will be used only for separation and severance related information.

Soon, access to your computer, email, voicemail and files will be blocked and you will not be able to login to the system. Keep in mind that you cannot download, copy or retain any confidential information of the company. Thank you for your contribution to our organization. Claim- Employees fired because of AI
