Hernandez also shows temples with large idols, grocery stores, streets with names having South Asian heritage, and Indian residents in traditional attire.At the temple, Hernandez showcased practices typical in Hindu worship, such as removing footwear and praying to multiple deities. She described the temple as “very large” and “intricate.”The video was criticized by some users who said Hernandez was reporting on a religious space, while MAGA supporters used her footage to voice anti-Indian and anti-immigrant views. City council meetings have been filled with claims of an “Indian takeover” and concerns about visa rules that are “replacing” American workers.
