Ahead of the Hindu festival of Akshaya Tritiya, or Akha Teej, gold jewelers in Dubai have slashed making charges and amped up offers, such as complimentary gold coins, to attract customers on the eve. The festival, to be celebrated on April 19, 2026, is an auspicious day in the Hindu calendar believed to bring prosperity, success and good fortune. It is considered to be one of the most favorable days to begin new adventures, make investments or purchase valuable assets such as gold and jewellery.
Gold jewelers reveal offers

Moreover, it is also offering zero-loss exchange on old 22J gold jewelery purchased from any store. Arakkal Gold and Diamonds is offering 80% on gold jewelery making charges and diamond jewellery. Akshaya Tritiya in Dubai
UAE has an estimated population of 4.3 million Indian expats, as of 2024. They make the largest ethnic community in the country and thus drive a massive footfall to the markets during their cultural celebrations. Considering the emirate’s reputation as a global gold trading hub, there is a noticeable surge in sales during the festival due to the large South Asian expatriate population.
