Apeksha Malviya: I believe that with persistence and passion, I'll achieve what I'm aiming for
Apeksha Malviya is intentionally pausing to deepen her acting craft through workshops and exploring new techniques.

Actress Apeksha Malviya, who recently stepped into her first lead role with Jhalleesays she is consciously slowing down instead of chasing her next project immediately. “I’ve recently completed an intense workshop, and instead of rushing into the next thing, I felt it was the perfect time to invest more deeply in my craft,” she says. I’m exploring new techniques, understanding emotions at a deeper level and preparing myself for the kind of roles I want to take on.“ Malviya, who earlier appeared in shows like Krishna Mohini and Palkon Ki Chaoan Mein 2adds that this phase has been personally transformative. “It’s not just about acting. I’ve brought discipline back into my routine—working out regularly, waking up early and building both mental and physical strength.” On the kind of roles she wants to pursue next, the actor is clear that she doesn’t want to box herself in. “Honestly, I don’t want to limit myself. I’m open to roles that challenge me, that scare me a little and push me beyond what I already know,” she says. “At the same time, I’m inclined towards films and cinema. I want to be part of stories that stay with people.” Ask her if following up on a lead role comes with added pressure, and she takes a practical view. “I don’t think it’s difficult to find another role after playing a lead. It really depends on your consistency, hard work and focus on your craft,” she says. “Once you’ve played a lead, the expectations are higher—and rightly so. If you keep evolving and stay dedicated, the right opportunities come your way. I truly believe that with persistence and passion, I’ll achieve what I’m aiming for.”
