The 2022 Kannada period action film remains one of the biggest successes in Indian cinema. ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ has now completed four years since its release this week. The production house marked the occasion with a special poster featuring Yash.

They shared the post with the message, “Celebrating 4 Glorious Years of #KGFChapter2 #4YearsForKGF2Mania.”Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie featured an ensemble cast. Yash led the film with powerful screen presence.Supporting roles included Sanjay DuttRaveena Tandon, Srinidhi ShettyPrakash Raj and others. The story built on the first chapter and expanded the empire of Rocky.
Yash on handling success
In an interview with Film Companion in 2022, Yash discussed on how to handle success, “I don’t believe in going out and talking about yourself. There’s a saying, ‘If you’re a king, and you’re going and saying you’re a king, then you’re not a king’. Anybody who has success, or is doing really great in life, I don’t they have to go out and show that they’re successful. People will know it.”He preferred letting the work speak for itself.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ shattered records across India and overseas markets. It became a pan-Indian phenomenon with strong repeat value.Yash is now preparing for his next big project ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’. Recent rumors suggested another postponement for the period gangster action movie. However, co-star Tara Sutaria dismissed those talks firmly.In a recent interaction with filmmaker Farah Khan on her vlog, Tara confirmed the release date. She stated that the film will release on June 4, 2026. Geetu Mohandas co-wrote and directs the project. It is a period action thriller set across different eras with a strong ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi.
