MG Motor India is all set to launch the new MG Majestor SUV next week, ie, April 20, 2026. The SUV was first showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo and is essentially a heavily updated version of the Gloster. The MG Majestor is a more premium offering above the Gloster, retaining the same platform but adding several updates to differentiate it. The SUV features revisions to its design, new features and improved off-road hardware, aimed at creating a clearer separation from the existing model. The changes position the Majestor higher in the company’s line-up, targeting buyers seeking a more premium, capable full-size SUV with enhanced off-road capability. Here are the top five things to know about the MG Majestor ahead of its launch. Bookings, deliveries The Pre-bookings have already begun, interested customers can book the Majestor online or by visiting their nearest MG dealership by paying Rs 41,000. Showroom previews and test drives will begin soon with deliveries scheduled to start in May 2026. The company also announced that the first 3,000 customers to pre-book the Majestor will receive a complimentary package comprising a five-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, five years of roadside assistance and a five-year labour-free service contract.designDesign-wise, it features a large Matrix-style grille, flanked by Falcon-inspired daytime running lights and modern split headlamps at the front. The side profile highlights its premium stance with 19-inch alloy wheels, while the rear is marked by new connected LED tail-lights and a sculpted tailgate that carries ‘Morris Garages’ and ‘Majestor’ badging. Other highlights include faux twin exhaust tips, a skid plate, an integrated spoiler, a rear wiper with a washer and more. Color options include monotone shades such as Metal Black, Pearl White, Concrete Gray and Metal AsInterior and features The new Majestor is offered in both six and seven-seat layout options. The six-seater gets individual captain seats in the second row, while the seven-seater features a conventional bench. The dashboard gets a complete redesign with piano-black trim and silver accents that lend a modern feel. Features-wise, it gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen, infotainment, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, MG’s i-Smart 2.0 connected-car technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, electrically adjustable front seats that offer heating, cooling and multiple massage functions, three-zone automatic climate control with rear-row vents, dual wireless charging pads, a panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, 64-colour ambient lighting, a gesture-operated powered tailgate and more.

Safety equipment includes Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane-departure warning with prevention and blind-spot monitoring. Once launched, the new Majestor will rival the Toyota Fortuner Legender and is expected to be priced from around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
