Jamshedpur: Two people were killed on Tuesday when a speeding tractor collided with a motorbike on the Tata-Patamda Main Road. The incident took place near Bamni Hotel under Patamda police station in East Singhbhum district.The deceased men, identified as Sumit Singh (20) and Sukhdev Singh (21), were cousins ​​and were traveling from Patamda to Burudih in Ghatsila. The driver of the tractor abandoned his vehicle behind a nearby school and fled.“The driver has not been apprehended yet. Investigation is underway,” said Patamda police station in-charge (OC) Vishnu Charan Bhokta. Bhokta said the tractor was seized.Notably, two men were hurt after they fell off their bike while performing stunts nearly 500 meters away from the spot where the cousins ​​were killed. “The men, identified as Ranjit Singh (19) and Dev Kumar (20) were admitted to Patamda community health center,” Bhokta said.
