Actor Daksh Sharma, who has been part of Agnisakhi – Ek Samjhauta, Ganesh Kartikeya, Qubool Hai 2.0, Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana, is currently seen as Nakul Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Talking about his acting process he says that he prefers to keep it simple and instinctive rather than being boxed into any one method. For him, the real work begins when he starts understanding the person behind the character.“I don’t follow anything very specific,” he shared, adding that he does have his own way of getting into a role. “I try to look at the character beyond what’s written. I think about what they might be feeling, what kind of life they’ve lived, and what really drives them as a person.”Instead of sticking to a structured technique, Daksh believes that forming a connection with the character makes all the difference. Once he feels that connection, the rest tends to fall into place on its own. “For me, it’s more about building that bond. When that’s clear in my head, I don’t overthink things on set. I just go with the moment and trust what feels right,” he said.He also spoke about how his approach has evolved with time. Each role, according to him, brings its own learning, which is why he doesn’t like limiting himself. “I’ve realized that every character teaches you something new. So I don’t want to get stuck in one way of working. It’s better to stay open and keep adapting,” he explained.When asked about preparation, Daksh said it really depends on what the role demands. For more intense parts, he tends to turn inward and focus more on the emotional side of things. On the other hand, for lighter scenes or stylized performances, he pays closer attention to timing, expressions and body language.Talking about his future plans, Daksh says, “Right now, I just want to keep growing as an actor, take on diverse roles, and challenge myself with different kinds of work. I’m really grateful for all the love and support. I hope to keep entertaining people and doing meaningful work.”
