Matt Murdock is not done fighting in Hell’s Kitchen. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will return for Season 3 after completing its second season on Disney Plus. Charlie Cox will continue as Matt Murdock and Daredevil, while Vincent D’Onofrio remains central to the story as Wilson Fisk and Kingpin. The show has kept the darker tone of the original Netflix ‘Daredevil’ series while giving Marvel’s street-level heroes a fresh place in the MCU.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 renewal update
According to Men’s Health, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ was officially renewed for season 3 in September 2025. The early renewal allowed the team to move ahead quickly, and filming has already started in New York City. The news follows a long journey for Cox’s version of the character. After three seasons of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’, fans were unsure if they would see him again. Marvel later brought him back in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, followed by appearances in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’ and ‘Echo’.‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has not copied the Netflix show, but it has reunited Cox and D’Onofrio for stories built around crime, power, justice, and personal loss. The series has also leaned into adult themes, including major deaths and the return of complex figures such as Bullseye, played by Wilson Bethel.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 cast and release date

Their presence suggests a possible reunion of The Defenders, the superhero team last seen during Marvel’s Netflix era.
