Imran Nazir Khan on winning Tribeverse: Real life is quite similar, and I treated the show the same way

Meri Bhavya Life actor Imran Nazir Khan is still soaking in the feeling of winning the first season of Tribeverse. For him, the journey was not just about lifting the trophy, but about discovering a new side of himself.“It wasn’t extremely difficult for me because real life is quite similar, and I treated the show the same way,” he says. “But yes, there was mental stress. We were constantly around people, there were conflicts, planning, strategies… it never really stopped. On top of that, the survival part was tough. It was very cold, and we had to do everything on our own — lighting the fire, cooking food, managing basic things. It wasn’t easy at all, but I’m happy I could handle it and prove to myself that I can.“Ask him what worked in his favour, and he doesn’t overcomplicate it. “I think it was my focus, my passion, and that strong determination to win. I went in with a clear mindset and gave my best in every situation. That really helped me stand out.”The show has also changed the way he sees his craft. “As actors, we usually perform with scripts and dialogues. Here, nothing was planned. Everything was real. I had to react honestly in the moment, and that made me trust my instincts more. It showed me a different side of myself.”He admits there were moments when things felt overwhelming. “There were times I doubted myself, whether I could do it or not. But I didn’t let those thoughts stay for long. I kept reminding myself to stay positive and keep going. That mindset made a big difference.”More than the win, it’s the learning that he values the most. “This journey made me realize that I still have a lot to improve, both personally and professionally. Being around strong and experienced contestants pushed me. It was challenging, but it helped me grow. I’ve understood that I’m more resilient than I thought.”Even after such a big win, Imran likes to stay grounded. “I never forget where I came from. I moved from Kashmir to Mumbai with dreams, and I’m still working towards them. I just want to keep moving forward, step by step.”Talking about what’s next, he sounds excited. “I definitely want to explore more reality shows and take on bigger challenges. I want to try things I haven’t done before and keep stepping out of my comfort zone.”
