Because Bengals, this could be your chance to make a move.”Kay Adams continued, “They still have $20 million in cap space this year. They’re Top 10 in projected cap space next year. Now is the time to use it, especially since you’ve got to think they can land (Lawrence) without giving up a first-round pick…”She added, “There’s no better use for that cap space than on a guy who has consistently been one of the best — if not the best — interior defensive linemen in the league for the last five years.”However, the Cincinnati Bengals have maintained their fair share of distance from the trade talks surrounding Dexter Lawrence.The New York Giants’ star player, Dexter Lawrence, failed to perform well in the 2025 season but he has dominated the field with his performance in the last few seasons.A three time Pro Bowler, Dexter Lawrence battled with an elbow injury in 2025 as he had a half-sack, 31 total tackles, one interception, and four passes defended, across 17 games he played in.In 2024, Dexter Lawrence impressed everyone by recording nine sacks in only 12 games that he played in.Not only was he named to his Pro Bowl for the third time, but Dexter Lawrence was also named to the 2024 NFLPA All-Pro team.For now, all eyes are on Dexter Lawrence’s comeback to the field in the new season as fans expect him to bounce back while rival teams keep an eye on him.
