Jaipur: In a bid to improve access to welfare services for defense personnel and their families, an AI-enabled platform, VeerSahara, developed by two Class 12 students, was praised by military welfare minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who termed it a meaningful use of technology for public good.Created by Kanishk Rungta and Krishaa Rungta, the platform is designed to assist ex-servicemen, widows, dependents and families of martyrs in identifying and accessing relevant govt schemes. With a user-friendly interface, VeerSahara guides users to benefits they may be eligible for and provides direct access to application links. Within a short span of its launch, the app has already seen over 2,000 families benefiting from its services, Rathore said.He said the platform addresses a genuine gap in the military welfare ecosystem by simplifying what is often a complex and fragmented process. “This is a highly commendable effort by young students who have used technology thoughtfully. VeerSahara is uniquely designed and responds to a real need, helping defense families access benefits with greater ease, dignity and transparency,” he said.Created by Kanishk Rungta and Krishaa Rungta, the platform is designed to assist ex-servicemen, widows, dependents and families of martyrs in identifying and accessing relevant govt schemes. With a user-friendly interface, VeerSahara guides users to benefits they may be eligible for and provides direct access to application links.
