Senior officials review preparations for Home Guard exam

Prayagraj: The district police and administrative authorities on Wednesday held a meeting at reserve police lines to review the arrangements for the exam for Enrollment 2025 for Uttar Pradesh Home Guard to be held on scheduled on April 25, 26 and 27.Senior cops issued a set of directives emphasizing that a thorough frisking of candidates must be ensured prior to their entry into the exam centers to check for any prohibited objects. All police personnel and center administrators were instructed to report to their respective centers ahead of the scheduled time.Instructions were issued to maintain a strict vigil for any suspicious activities or gangs involved in facilitating cheating and any crowd will not be allowed near the centres. A stern warning was issued against negligence in duties. Officials were directed to maintain constant contact with Sector and Static Magistrates and to transmit real-time updates to the Control Room. A senior cop asserted that upholding the sanctity of the examination is the paramount priority of the police administration, and urged all officers and staff to work with a spirit of teamwork to ensure fair examination. The exams are scheduled to be conducted in two shifts at 37 centers across the district.
