Tamil Nadu elections 2026: 'Raaka' director Atlee steps out to vote; greets fans with a smileIn a video, director Atlee was seen at a polling booth wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. He walked in calmly with his documents when a fan approached him for a selfie. Atlee smiled and obliged. He then went inside to cast his vote. As he stepped out, he proudly showed his inked finger, with people around him cheering.

Actors spotted casting their vote

Earlier, superstar Rajinikanth was seen arriving at a polling booth in Chennai with his daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth. Both of them cast their votes at Stella Maris School. Actor and politician Kamal Haasan also voted, accompanied by his daughter, Shruti Haasan. They cast their votes at a booth in Alwarpet, much to the delight of fans.Several other actors also stepped out to vote. Vikram, Dhanush, Trisha Krishnan, Sivakarthikeyan, and Vijay Sethupathi were among those seen at polling booths, proudly displaying their inked fingers after voting.

Atlee’s next big film

On the work front, Atlee is currently busy with his upcoming film Raaka, starring Tollywood star Allu Arjun and Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

About ‘Raaka’

A few days ago, on Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday, the director officially shared the actor’s first look from the film. Atlee posted the poster on his‘Raaka’ is set to be a grand sci-fi epic. Reports also suggest that Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna may also be part of the project.
