Varanasi: A man was allegedly shot at by his uncle in Chitbadagaon police station area of Ballia district on Thursday. The accused has been taken into custody and is being interrogated. The injured person, who sustained bullet wound above his left armpit, was sent to the Ballia district hospital, from where he was referred to the BHU Trauma Center in Varanasi. According to reports, the Chitbadagaon police received information that Vaibhav Singh, resident of Bagahi village, had been shot by his paternal uncle Sanjay Singh. Upon receiving this information, local police immediately reached the spot and found that the injured Vaibhav Singh had sustained a bullet wound above his left armpit. He was immediately taken to district hospital along with his family members, where his treatment was started.Circle Officer Sadar Rakesh Kumar Singh said that his condition is out of danger. He has been referred to BHU Trauma Center for better treatment. Police force has been deployed at the spot. The accused has been taken into custody and is being interrogated.
