Hazaribagh: : Five members of a family, including two women and two minor girls, were killed after the car in which they were traveling crashed into a trailer from behind followed by a speeding truck ramming into the four-wheeler in Danuwa valley on the GT Road in the district on Saturday.The impact was so severe that the car was mangled beyond recognition, killing all occupants on the spot.According to preliminary information, the victims were traveling in a car from Dhanbad to Bihar. The identities of the deceased, who included a man, are yet to be confirmed.Both drivers of the heavy vehicles fled after the accident.A team from Chouparan police station, along with NHAI personnel, rushed to the spot for rescue operation.Barhi SDPO Ajit Kumar Vimal said that police have started a search for the absconding drivers.
