She said such actions encourage wider participation in eye and organ donation.Reunion meetingThe annual reunion ceremony of the Jharkhand chapter of IIMC Alumni Association was held on Saturday in Ranchi. The ‘Connections Meet’ began in Delhi on Feb 28, and since then, chapter-level events have been organized every weekend in different states. Former IIMC students from various districts of Jharkhand participated. During the programme, SAIL officer Manoj Kumar and journalist Anand Dutta, who played a key role in foundation of the Jharkhand chapter, were honored with the ‘Pillar of IMCA’ award. Jharkhand chapter president Kishore Kaushal said that they have been active in social work, and such activities will be expanded further in the coming days. He added that programs bringing together members and their families are also part of the chapter’s plans.
