Naagin 7 to go off air soon; Ekta Kapoor confirms finale episode date

Naagin 7 has been entertaining the audience for a while now, and producer Ekta Kapoor has now confirmed that the show is set to come to an end. She shared an Instagram video where she mentioned how the show was initially expected to have only 30 episodes, but due to the channel’s request, it now has over 48 episodes.Ekta took to her Instagram handle and shared a quick update with fans. While sharing a video, she mentioned how Naagin 7 is already an extended season, and hence it now has to come to an end. The finale episode will air on Ekta’s birthday, which is on June 7.In the video, she said, “As always, I’m here to give some update on Naagin. Guys, I had done that post yesterday and I just realized that people were creating a storm. But yeah, we were supposed to end in April, now because of the channel’s request, we’re ending on my birthday. None of the Naagin seasons were supposed to be like this. It was supposed to be just 30 episodes, but we extended it for 40 years and then we will be back next year.“In another video, she said, “So in order to have Naagin back every year, we should do shorter seasons so that I don’t have to give all my time and I can go back to doing other things. So already it’s an extended season from 30 episodes, and we are going to be on air for almost 6 months, and we’ll be back next year after a break.”Fans had mixed reactions to the announcement. While some were disappointed to see Naagin 7 going off air, others appreciated Ekta Kapoor’s clarity and honesty about the show’s format. Several fans took to social media to express their excitement for the finale, especially since it will air on her birthday. Many also shared that they are happy the show will return next year, while a section of viewers said they would prefer shorter and more crisp seasons going forward.
