The finale episode will air on Ekta’s birthday, which is on June 7.In the video, she said, “As always, I’m here to give some update on Naagin. Guys, I had done that post yesterday and I just realized that people were creating a storm. But yeah, we were supposed to end in April, now because of the channel’s request, we’re ending on my birthday. None of the Naagin seasons were supposed to be like this. It was supposed to be just 30 episodes, but we extended it for 40 years and then we will be back next year.“In another video, she said, “So in order to have Naagin back every year, we should do shorter seasons so that I don’t have to give all my time and I can go back to doing other things. So already it’s an extended season from 30 episodes, and we are going to be on air for almost 6 months, and we’ll be back next year after a break.”Fans had mixed reactions to the announcement.
