Guwahati: Gauhati high court has designated additional advocate general of Assam, Parangam Narayan Goswami, as a senior advocate, marking a significant milestone in his legal career.Goswami, who began practice in 2002, has handled a wide range of criminal and civil cases in both Gauhati HC and Supreme Court.Over the years, he has served as senior standing counsel for several key government departments, including excise, PHE, forest, and irrigation.This recognition places Goswami among the select group of lawyers entrusted with the responsibility of assisting the court in matters of significant public importance, further strengthening his role in shaping Assam’s legal landscape.
