Kiccha Sudeep urges kindness amid criticism

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Kiccha Sudeep, during a press conference, spoke about the controversy surrounding the song. He said, “Prem has made songs in the past that have brought us closer to our parents, songs on mothers’ love and emotions, which we’ve heard on loop.” He tried to remind people that Prem has done good work before.Sudeep also spoke about people who are not from Karnataka may not know his work. “People outside Karnataka can say what they wish to, but we should keep in mind the contribution this man has given.” He did not say the song is right or wrong. He simply added, “I am not saying he has made a mistake with his song; sometimes, some things don’t work, and it’s okay.”

Kiccha Sudeep on social media reactions

The ‘Vikrant Rona’ actor felt bad about how people spoke online. He said Prem was made to feel small. “Social media is a space for people to share their opinions. But it is not right to make a man feel so small. Is it okay for us to be so harsh on our own people?” he said. He asked people to be kind and think before speaking. During the controversy, Nora Fatehi, who performed in the song with Sanjay Dutt, also shared that she did not understand the meaning of the Kannada lyrics when she shot the song. She kept a distance from the issue. The case even reached the National Commission for Women. Sanjay Dutt appeared before them and said sorry and also promised to help educate 50 tribal childrena.Kiccha Sudeep will be seen playing a cameo in the movie. It is led by Dhruva Sarja with Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, Jisshu Sengupta, and Nora Fatehi in key roles.The makers recently announced that the film has received an ‘A’ rating from CBFC. It is set to hit the big screens on April 30.
