Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra seeks justice in pornography case: 'If I'm guilty, punish me'

Shilpa Shett’s husband, actor and entrepreneur Raj Kundra has been has opened up about the prolonged legal battle he has faced over the past four years in connection with the pornography case.On Wednesday, Raj took to X to share his thoughts, stating that he has endured an extended legal process and is now seeking relief if proven innocent. He wrote, “Four long years in the lower court in the ongoing pornography case. Today, my advocate Prashant Patil concluded our arguments. I stand by the truth if I’m guilty, punish me. If not, grant me a discharge, my freedom, and the respect taken away by relentless media trials. Justice delayed is justice denied. 🙏 #Justice.” He said that while he has consistently respected the judicial system and cooperated with authorities throughout the investigation, the length of the proceedings has been deeply frustrating for him.For those not in the know, Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19, 2021, by the Mumbai Crime Branch in connection with an alleged pornography production and distribution racket. Officials had described him as a “key conspirator,” claiming that adult content was created in India and distributed via subscription-based mobile applications. According to investigators, the material was uploaded through foreign-linked platforms to bypass domestic regulations. The case invoked provisions under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, with multiple individuals allegedly involved in production, management, and monetization.Kundra has repeatedly denied all allegations, maintaining that the content in question was erotic rather than pornographic. After spending nearly two months in custody, he was granted bail in September 2021. Since then, court proceedings and investigations have continued, with Kundra now seeking closure and relief from what he describes as a long-drawn legal ordeal.
