Kobbie Mainoo has committed his future to Manchester United by signing a new five-year contract, the club confirmed on Thursday. The 21-year-old midfielder will now stay at Old Trafford until 2031, ending months of speculation about his future. His new deal includes a massive salary rise, reportedly taking his weekly wages to £150,000. This marks a huge jump from his previous contract. It was worth around £25,000 per week and was set to run until 2027.The contract extension comes after a challenging season for Mainoo. The young England international had even asked to leave on loan during the January transfer window when Ruben Amorim was in charge. However, the move was blocked by the club.
