Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were not at the Met Gala, but they made enough waves online as they headed to the beach to shoot a song sequence for their upcoming film ‘King’.The on-screen couple, who are believed to be romancing each other in the film, were spotted at the beach, shooting for a song and dance sequence. Visuals from the shoot going viral online, saw the duo dressed in breezy, neutral-toned outfits, walking towards each other before performing their choreography amid a golden sunset.

Deepika and SRK were seen having a go at the dance two or three times. They were seen pausing their moves and going back to their positions. While the portion of the beach seemed to be shut off, the two garnered quite the audience, who were keen to see them shoot.Shah Rukh and Deepika arrived in South Africa last week to commence their shoot. The duo kicked off the schedule with a song sequence. Videos from the sets even teased a clip of the song, rumored to be an Ed Sheeran number.

Shah Rukh, on the other hand, has also been seen shooting scenes in a car. Reports previously indicated that the stars are in Cape Town to shoot an intense climax scene.

‘King’ release date
‘King’, which marks another collaboration between Khan and Padukone, is among the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2026. The film is slated to hit the big screens on December 24, arriving in cinemas just a week after the release of the Hollywood films ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Dune: Part Three’. Although set to release a week later, the timing of the film’s release has given way to one of the biggest box office clashes of all time. The release of ‘Jumanji 3’ has only added to the competition, at the box office.
