Antonio Felix Da Costa on collecting one point at Berlin E-Prix
Antonio Felix Da Costa started ninth on the grid in Round 7 and eventually finished 10th, collecting one point.Commenting on his performance in Round 7, Da Costa said in a statement, “That was a difficult race, and ultimately a frustrating result. In the first part of the race I managed energy very well and was up on many of the cars around me, so after the Pit Boost I felt I was in a good position – even though I didn’t feel I had the best balance. Unfortunately our position after Pit Boost did not remain as expected around other cars pitting, and though I was still in the fight I was battling some de-rates towards the end of the race. I felt we definitely left points on the table today, so we’ll go away and analyze the data.”While Da Costa scored one point after finishing 10th, his Jaguar teammate Mitch Evans finished sixth and collected eight points. However, it was Evans’ turn to shine the following day as he went on to win the Round 8 race at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit. The victory saw him become the Formula E driver with the most race wins in the history of the all-electric series. Da Costa, meanwhile, finished last in 18th place.
