Claire Nielson was a Scottish actress who had risen to fame after her work with comedy legends John Cleese and Prunella Scales in ‘Fawlty Towers’ in 1979. She worked in various theater productions, TV shows as well as films, and created a name for herself in the industry.Born on April 8, 1937, in Glasgow, Scotland, Nielsen began her career as an actress in the early 1950s. She started her career after she landed a space in a famed theater workshop at the Royal Scottish Academy of Dramatic Art.
