Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, has been suffering from a troubling wrist issue for over a year. The issue was ignored for a year. It worsened after a workout earlier in the week, which pushed her to address the issue.She was diagnosed with De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, referred to as “Mother’s Wrist” or “Mommy Thumb.” The causative factors are constantly lifting infants or kids and hormonal shifts, which can put pressure on the wrists.“To find out I have this… been battling it for probably around a year now, thinking it will get better, well, it never did and started to get pretty bad… so now, I get to wear this cool thing,” 30-year-old Brittany said via social media post showing her wrist brace. While she recovers, her star quarterback husband is also recovering from a brutal knee injury he encountered on the gridiron in December last year.
