Mohanlal’s reaction to his character

The director also shared what Mohanlal felt. He said, “I had spoken to Lal sir about it. He watched the film in the US and really liked it. Even while dubbing, he had seen portions of his scenes and was happy with how it all shaped up.” He also added, “In fact, when I first approached him with the project, that particular aspect was one of the things he liked about the character. So I don’t think he sees it that way at all.”

Mammootty on mixed opinions

A few days ago, Mammootty also addressed the mixed response at an event in Dubai. According to a report by Mid-day, he said, “We are living in an era where privacy is increasingly lost, and the film Patriot addresses this relevant subject.” He also spoke about different opinions. He said, “There will be different views—good, bad, partly good, mostly good. Everyone is free to express their opinion as they feel. Some of you may have heard such opinions before coming here. Whatever it is, you will form your own view, and that is what matters. Films are made with the intention of being enjoyed by all.”‘Patriot’ also features other actors like Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Rajeev Menon, and Revathy.
