Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Gaurav Gogoi in a social media post said after offering temporary relief to the public during the election period, the government is now imposing the burden of price rise in a phased manner.“Election relief is over, the real phase of price rise has begun,” Gogoi wrote in his post.He said in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi had warned that prices of petrol, diesel and other fuel products would increase after Apr 29.Gogoi pointed out that the sudden hike in the price of commercial LPG cylinders has had a direct impact on small traders, shopkeepers, dhaba operators, and restaurant and hotel businesses. He said this is not just price rise, but a result of PM Narendra Modi’s “policy of surrender,” due to which small businesses and common people are suffering.
