Panaji: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday attended the swearing-in ceremony of West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari, where BJP for the first time formed a govt. Sawant congratulated and wished Adhikari a successful tenure in service to the people of Bengal.He said that this marks the beginning of a new era and a new dawn for Bengal. He said that under Adhikari’s leadership, and with the guidance and support of PM Narendra Modi, the double engine government will ensure inclusive and all-round development across the state.Sawant expressed confidence that Bengal will witness new opportunities, stronger governance, infrastructure growth, empowerment of the marginalised, and progress guided by the vision of antyodaya.
