UK police charge two men over filming of antisemitic TikTok videos in LondonAccording to the Metropolitan Police, the incident took place on Thursday night in Stamford Hill, where several Jewish residents were allegedly approached, harassed and filmed for social media content.The accused, identified as Adam Bedoui, 20, and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, 21, both from Hillingdon in west London, were later charged in connection with the incident, BBC reported.The Crown Prosecution Service said the charges relate to allegations of religiously aggravated intentional harassment under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, as well as intentional harassment under the Public Order Act 1986.Police confirmed that five men were initially arrested as part of the investigation. Two of them have since been charged and remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.Three other suspects — two aged 20 and one aged 21 — have been released on bail while inquiries continue.Huw Rogers, chief crown prosecutor for CPS Direct, said prosecutors had worked closely with the Metropolitan Police to assess the evidence and determine that criminal charges were in the public interest.Detective Superintendent Oliver Richter, who leads policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, said officers would “not tolerate any form of hate crime against our communities”.The investigation remains ongoing.
