Watch: Trump gets McDonald's delivered by DoorDash 'grandma' at Oval Office

US President Donald Trump had lunch delivered to the Oval Office on Monday afternoon (US local time) when a driver from DoorDash brought two bags of McDonald’s.The worker, identified by the company as Sharon Simmons, hand-delivered the food to the commander-in-chief on the colonnade outside the West Wing.As the delivery unfolded, Trump said, “This doesn’t look staged,” while receiving the food and speaking with reporters gathered outside the White House.Trump then addressed reporters alongside the driver, speaking about his “One Big Beautiful Bill” and “No Tax on Tips” initiative for American workers, with the filing deadline for most Americans two days away. When asked whether the driver received a good tip, Trump reached into his pocket and gave her a $100 bill. The brief delivery soon turned into an impromptu press event. Reporters were brought to the front door of the White House as Trump continued speaking on a range of topics, including Iran, while the US began a blockade of Iran’s ports and the Strait of Hormuz. He also spoke about his conflict with the Pope.In one exchange, Trump turned to the worker and asked her about “men in women’s sports.” She responded, “I really don’t have an opinion on that. No, no, I’m here on no tax on tips.”
