Dhubri: Dhubri police arrested one Sagar Ghose on Wednesday night for allegedly trying to take admission at a school at the higher-secondary level with a fake marksheet.On Wednesday, police raided the English Education Academy (EEA) and recovered laptops, torn up marksheets, a printer and other materials, busting an alleged fake marksheet racket. Sagar was detained for interrogation.A police source said Sagar was produced before a magistrate on Thursday and was remanded in three-day police custody for further interrogation. Police plan to investigate links beyond Dhubri as EEA has a number of branches in western Assam districts, the source added.The source said the main accused is the head of EEA, Jahidul Hussain, who has been on the run since the raid.
