Seer held for molesting girl
Haridwar: A 58-year-old seer was arrested in Haridwar on Thursday for allegedly molesting a six-year-old girl, police said.Police said that the girl was playing in her village when the accused lured her away and molested her. After the girl narrated the ordeal to her parents, a case was filed against him.Local SHO told TOI, “The accused lived in an ashram. On Wednesday evening, when the girl was playing near a mango tree in the village, he lured her and molested her. We registered a case under the Pocso Act and arrested the accused. He was later produced before the court and sent to judicial custody.”
