‘Anupamaa’ begins when Rahi tells Khyati that she is leaving for work. Khyati asks her to have breakfast, but Rahi feels dizzy. Khyati notices that Rahi hasn’t slept properly and asks if Prem came home late. Rahi says Prem is very disturbed, and she wants to support him. She says Prem is not listening to her. Rahi blames Anupama and says things might have been different if she had just supported them a little. Rahi wishes Prem would understand that this is not the end, and he can still reapply for the license. Rahi asks Khyati how she can convince Prem. Vasundhara suggests that Rahi quit her job so she doesn’t make Prem feel bad. Khyati questions what will happen if Rahi leaves her job. Vasundhara points out that Rahi was the one who said she could handle both Pranshi and home, but now she is struggling. Rahi becomes tense and worried.
A prank and a sweet moment
Banku decides to lock the gate when Digvijay asks him to wait a moment. Jaya and Anupama surprise them with a prank. Banku is shocked to see Anupama and Jaya playing a trick on them. Jaya tells Digvijay not to scold Anupama since it was her idea. Anupama apologizes to Digvijay on Jaya’s behalf. Jaya asks if Digvijay missed her. Digvijay tells her to relax. Anupama thanks Digvijay for calling her back. Digvijay says they need to start the café very soon. Anupama gives him sweets and suggests he eat them to calm down. Digvijay asks if he seems angry. Anupama says her intention was not what he is thinking. She places the sweet on the table and leaves.
Ansh discovers Gautam’s secret
Ansh asks Mahi to leave and let him handle things alone. Mahi says she is prepared for anything and refuses to go. Ansh catches Gautam with his girlfriend, and Mahi is shocked to see him.Gautam senses someone’s presence; Ansh and Mahi hide from him. Ansh asks Mahi if she is okay. Mahi says she wants to prove that Gautam is not a good husband and father. Ansh reassures her that they will find proof.
The night incident
Anupama sees a shadow in the house and thinks it is a thief. She decides to fight the intruder and hits Digvijay, believing he is the thief. Digvijay tells her it is him. Anupama apologizes profusely. She asks if he was eating sweets secretly. Digvijay says Saavi used to make the same sweet. Anupama tells him she has uploaded the recipe online. Digvijay says Saavi was a big fan of Anupama. Anupama says if Saavi were alive, she would have hugged her and called her her best student. Anupama notices the competition pamphlet. Digvijay shares that Saavi wanted to participate in every competition. He says they don’t have time to start the café now. Anupama insists they should not delay.
Digvijay opens up
Bose asks Digvijay if he is happy. Digvijay talks about Saavi’s kitchen and how excited he is. Bose says Digvijay has finally found Joshi ben. Digvijay says they have a lot of work since the competition is coming soon.
Prem’s struggle continues
Prem tells everyone he doesn’t want a motivational speaker. Prerna and Rahi try to encourage him to try again for the license. Prem says he doesn’t want to talk. Prerna convinces him to come out with her. Prem agrees to go with Prerna. Vasundhara blames Anupama for causing problems in Rahi and Prem’s relationship. She says that because Rahi is busy with her office work, Prem has to spend time with an outsider.
Anupama’s new beginning
Anupama is thrilled about starting Saavi’s café. Digvijay warns her not to change anything, as Saavi’s café should run exactly the way Saavi used to run it. Bose tells Digvijay to trust Anupama since she has lots of experience. Anupama agrees and prays for Saavi’s blessings. Then Dhigvijay asks her to take charge of cafe’s opening ceremony.
