Lucknow: Artificial Intelligence is turning out to be extremely useful for the students preparing for the entrance exams, as the mock tests made by simple AI tools are helping them prepare in a structured and time-bound manner.According to the students, AI gives them instant evaluation, section-wise analysis and real-time simulation, helping them track their performances and plan their revision.In MCQs, the AI checks correctness of answers, time taken per question and patterns such as repeated mistakes, guessing or conceptual gaps. It highlights where accuracy is strong and where basic concepts are weak.In short answer questions, it checks the clarity of expression, correctness of key points and relevance of the response, showing whether the student has understood the concept properly or not. and the answers are complete or partially developed.In long answer questions, the assessment goes deeper into structure, explanation, logic, depth of content and flow of arguments. It also points out missing points, weak reasoning, repetition or lack of supporting examples, making the feedback more detailed than short answers.Many students have said that the detailed report card generated after each test highlights their weak areas, accuracy, time spent per question, and areas where they can improve. This is eventually helping them plan their studies accordingly.A law aspirant, Rakhi Agrawal said, “I follow a fixed schedule of two mock tests, revision and analysis daily. After every test, the AI shows where I lost marks, giving me a clear picture of which topics to focus the next day.”Vishesh Verma, who is preparing for CAT, stated that the report card helps him clearly assess his performance. He said that he follows a daily schedule by dividing time between subjects with extra focus on weak areas and plans to attempt at least 20 full-length tests before the exam.Students are also using the countdown-based planning system of AI in which they get created schedules to meet the deadline for preparations before the exam. It allows a student to meet strict deadlines, and breaks complex tasks into simpler steps.Neha Khan, a student, preparing for entrance examinations said that she follows a daily plan suggested by the platform, which recommends topics, tests and revision slots based on her performance, helping her maintain consistency in preparation.Educationist and AI expert, Vipul Singh, said, “AI-generated mock test results must always be cross-checked with standard study material and teacher guidance to ensure accuracy. AI-powered mock tests are helping students gain real-time feedback and structured preparation, making exam readiness more data-driven, focused and effective.”
