The post included clips from their wedding ceremony in southern France in August 2025 and was captioned “Just the girls.”The wedding pictures showed behind-the-scenes moments with the bridesmaids, luxury venue decor and celebrity style fashion details. The couple got engaged in Mallorca, Spain, during the 2024 offseason and wed at Chateau Estoublon.The post also gained extra attention because it was posted not long after the Edmonton Oilers were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Anaheim Ducks in six games. Leon Draisaitl played injured in the playoffs and still produced offensively despite the disappointing end.Draisaitl added that going forward, there will have to be a big improvement for the Edmonton Oilers.
