The company behind Trump Mobile, T1 Mobile LLC, recently changed the fine print on its website. This change is worrying some buyers who deposited $100 for the Trump-branded gold phone. The company has recently updated its preorder terms and conditions to clarify that it “does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase.”The revised terms further state, “A preorder deposit provides only a conditional opportunity if Trump Mobile later elects, in its sole discretion, to offer the Device for sale.” The update comes nearly a year after customers placed deposits for the device, which has yet to ship. The smartphone, marketed under Trump Mobile and linked to the Trump Organization, has seen multiple delays since its initial announcement. It was first expected to ship in August 2025, with timelines later shifting to November 2025, December 2025 and then “mid to late January 2026,” according to earlier customer service responses. As of now, there is no confirmed release date listed on the company’s website.
