The ‘Red High Heels’ singer performed a duet with contestant Hannah Harper, singing Martina McBride’s song ‘A Broken Wing.‘

According to the BBC, reflecting on her husband’s demise, Pickler said that six months after the tragic event had been ‘the darkest time’ of her life.However, for ‘American Idol,’ Pickler has a special spot in her heart. She appeared in the fifth season with Chris Daughtry, Katharine McPhee, Mandisa, and winner Taylor Hicks. After her performance, judge Lionel Richie shared, “All I can say is the perfect voice blend and complement. The two of you make one dynamic performance. Incredible.”
