Amitabh Bachchan tells his security staff to behave well with fans: 'Unka jaise vyavhaar hoga, janta samajhti hai mera bhi swabhaav waisa hoga'

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, has a ritual of meeting fans outside his home Jalsa during his Sunday meet-and-greet sessions since more than 42 years now. As Bachchan dropped images from his recent Sunday meet-and-greet, the actor expressed gratitude and also revealed the instructions which he has given to his security people. He revealed that he has instructed his security staff to treat fans respectfully and with kindness.Sharing glimpses from the weekly ritual on his blog, the legendary actor wrote, “This is my pride and my honor to have the blessings of the many… they make me believe… they make me breathe another day… they provoke me to work harder and to deliver… they are my Ef… my extended family.”The actor also uploaded photos where he could be seen interacting with his security personnel while explaining how fans should be treated. He expressed in Hindi, “Explaining to those who work here, how they should behave with the well-wishers… The way they (the workers) behave with the public, the public understands that this will be my nature too (I also spoke to the security, so that they know how to behave with the well-wishers). How they react to the public will reflect how public thinks that it is my own nature of treating them)!”Expressing gratitude towards fans who wait for hours just to catch a glimpse of him, the actor further wrote, “To wait so long, in so much sun, for hours, is not a normal thing… then not treating them properly, this is not right… the public is Janardan… affection, respect, goodwill towards them – that’s all they want to see… they give us so much, we should become a mirror of love and respect towards them (In this heat, they have been Waiting for hours and that is not okay. Love, respect and goodwill towards them. They give us so much.”Amitabh Bachchan recently concluded hosting duties for the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, continuing his long-standing association with the popular quiz show.On the film front, the actor was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. The sci-fi epic emerged as a massive box office success globally, while Amitabh’s portrayal of Ashwatthama received widespread acclaim. He is currently shooting for the sequel.
