Nico Muller claims first win on Porsche’s home ground
Nico Muller filled Antonio Felix da Costa’s seat at Porsche this season after da Costa moved to Jaguar TCS Racing. Muller made contact with DS Penske’s Taylor Barnard as the two battled for their first Formula E win at the challenging Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit. The 34-year-old Swiss driver finally claimed victory, while Barnard ended up in 8th position. Not only this, Muller also moved up the Formula E Drivers’ Standings, taking third position with 75 points. He replaced Mitch Evans, pushing him to fourth position. He secured second place at the Miami E-Prix earlier this year, and his win in Berlin has further strengthened his position in the title race.
