One of the most revered Buddhist sites of pilgrimage, Bodh Gaya, is soon going to have another tourist attraction, a park called the Seven Wonders Park, which would have replicas of some of the world-renowned monuments. The said park is currently under construction. As per a report published by Travel and Tour World, the park would cover an area of about 40 acres and will be completed by May 2026..Bodh Gaya, situated in the Gaya district of the Indian state of Bihar, is recognized as the birthplace of Buddhism because it is widely acknowledged that Gautama Buddha became enlightened here beneath the Bodhi Tree. The place attracts a host of visitors from several countries, including Sri Lanka, Thailand, Japan, Bhutan and Myanmar, besides those who arrive from within the country.As per reports, the proposed Seven Wonders Park would be set up near Silaunja village, Bodh Gaya area. It has been reported that the park would contain replicas modeled after famous sites throughout the world, which would allow people to experience the most popular tourist attractions of the world at one destination. These include the likes of Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China, Giza Pyramids, Machu Picchu and Petra.
