Activision has announced the release date of the mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 03 Reloaded. This new content drop will add new maps, limited-time modes, Zombies content, weapons, and events in the game. All platforms will get the update on April 30 at 9 AM PT. According to Activision, the content drop expands multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and Endgame experiences with new gameplay modes and rewards. Players will also get access to additional operator skins, weapon blueprints, and themed event content during the mid-season update.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
The update adds new multiplayer maps, including Onsen, a new small-sized 6v6/2v2 map set in a Japanese hot spring, along with the return of Summit and Hacienda.A new multiplayer mode, Freerun, introduces obstacle-based races where players compete across 10 zones using movement mechanics such as wall jumps, grappling hooks, and wingsuits.Two additional limited-time multiplayer modes are also being added:
- Heat Wave Havoc: Rewards players for team-based support actions with combat bonuses
- Freeze Tag: A 6v6 mode where players freeze enemies and revive teammates
For Zombies mode, Activision is introducing a new round-based map called Totenreich, set in a Norwegian fishing village pulled into the Dark Aether.The Zombies update also adds the following:
- New enemy: Necropincer
- New Wonder Weapon: Jotunn Star
- New Field Upgrade: Wild Fire
- New quests, rewards, and Pack-a-Punch camos
The Endgame co-op PvE mode will remain free-to-play for a limited time and receive Operation Broken Mirror, new rewards, and a new Thermal Spike ability.
Call of Duty Warzone
Warzone is getting two new limited-time modes.
- Hot Pursuit is a vehicle-focused Police vs Thieves mode on Avalon where squads compete using different vehicle abilities.
- Prop Hunt Royale brings a larger version of Prop Hunt to Rebirth Island with 24v24 gameplay.
The update also adds new equipment, including Spikes, which offer temporary combat boosts, and Cluster Grenades, which are being expanded to core Battle Royale and Resurgence playlists.Players will also get access to new weapons such as the Siren Special Weapon and Katana, along with new events, including a RoboCop-themed event pass.
