Dhanbad: : In a bid to provide legal assistance to the affected families of Kenduadih in Dhanbad where repeated incidents of land subsidence and leakage of toxic gases pose a serious threat to life, a special team of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) visited the area on Saturday to assess the ground situation.The team conducted an extensive inspection of the affected localities in Kenduadih and interacted directly with residents to understand their grievances. The team was led by Judge-cum-secretary Mayank Tushar Topno. Chief of the Legal Aid Defense Counsel System, Kumar Vimalendu, deputy chief Ajay Kumar Bhatt, and other members were also present.Mayank Tushsr Topno said the team met residents of Kenduadih and assured them of justice. “We have heard the grievances of the people and will now take up the matter with BCCL and the district administration,” he said.
