After a historic run at the Indian box office, ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is now gearing up for its digital premiere.Ahead of the big reveal by the streaming giants, fans of the Ranveer Singh starrer, directed by Aditya Dhar, took to social media to share screenshots of the film’s title card allegedly listed on OTT sites. As per the viral post doing the rounds on social media, the film will reportedly be available for streaming on May 15, after completing an 8-week theatrical run.

As per the title card, the film has will debut under the extended title ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge (Raw and Undekha)’. It will reportedly begin streaming from May 15 at 12:00 AM. The digital version is set to stream in HD and 4K formats with Dolby 5.1 audio support. The reported runtime of the OTT cut stands at 3 hours, 52 minutes and 24 seconds, hinting at the possibility of additional footage or an extended uncensored version which played out in Indian cinemas.Although an official announcement is still awaited, the film will reportedly be released in India, on JioHotstar, while international audiences will reportedly be able to watch it on Netflix from the same date.

The announcement comes after the film completed its 50-day run in cinemas and officially clocked 7 weeks at the box office. Directed by Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ shattered multiple records during its theatrical run and crossed the Rs 1,140 crore net mark in India, while grossing over Rs 1,791 crore worldwide.
‘Dhurandhar’ franchise to expand
The announcement also comes as the makers teased that director Dhar was ‘not done with Dhurandhar’ just yet and that fans could expect an update about the franchise, later this year.‘Dhurandhar’, which was released in two parts has become the most successful Indian film franchise of all time. The films crossed the Rs 3,100 crore mark in collections worldwide from the release of just two films.
