KOLKATA: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday carried out searches at multiple locations in West Bengal as part of its ongoing money laundering investigation into the alleged ration distribution scam, officials said.ED teams are also conducting a raid at the residence of businessman Partha Sarathi in North 24 Parganas district in connection with the Public Distribution System (PDS) scam.According to officials, the searches are aimed at gathering evidence related to alleged irregularities and financial transactions linked to the scam. The ED is probing suspected money laundering and diversion of funds meant for subsidized food grain distribution under the PDS.Further details are awaited.(This is a developing story)
