Chennai: DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi on Tuesday flayed AIADMK general secretary. Edappadi K Palaniswami alleging that he did not take up issues concerning the people for the `fear of offending his Delhi bosses.”Campaigning in Tiruvallur, Ranipet and Tiruvannamalai districts, Kanimozhi said EPS did not speak about issues affecting the people in any of his public meetings. “They (Union government) are laying national highways, but there are no overbridges or passes on the highways. People, especially traders, had to travel additional five to 10km to go to their villages. “AIADMK promised mobile phones (in 2016) but didn’t fulfill it. Not any one from the state received a mobile phone. The TV given by Kalaignar (former CM M Karunanidhi) are still functioning in many houses,” she said.
