Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari is set to take oath as chief minister on Saturday after the party won 207 seats, ending the All India Trinamool Congress’s 15-year rule in the state.Several senior BJP leaders, including Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda and Dharmendra Pradhan, arrived in Kolkata ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, along with Himanta Biswa Sarma and Manik Saha.Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday announced Adhikari as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party in West Bengal, following which he met Governor RN Ravi to stake claim to form the government.
