Kanpur: IDBI Bank Kanpur Nagar, with the support of the district administration, provided various useful materials worth Rs 25 lakhs from its CSR fund for the children residing in the children’s home.The objective of the funds was strengthening skill development, education and infrastructure facilities for the children. Chief guest Awanish Awasthi, advisor chief minister, presented various items, including three RO plants, three large griddles, three dishwashers, 10 computers, 10 tables and 30 table-bench sets for children, which were handed over to the girls.Subsequently, he interacted with the girls and encouraged them to become self-reliant through education and skill development. He also gave an assurance that, in the future, support would continue to be provided, both in encouraging high-performing girls and in making necessary resources available to them.
