HYDERABAD: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s pacers Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain had a dream IPL debut. Hinge in particular was impressive, taking three wickets in the opening over. However, he was brought down to earth by Chennai Super Kings, as he was carted for 54 in his first three overs.SRH assistant coach James Franklin felt that it was a steep learning curve. “It’s a process for any player when they enter a big competition for the first time. As games go, he’ll learn from every experience. The encouraging aspect for us was the fact that the first few hours were very challenging for him, but he still came in and closed out the game (against CSK). There would have been some nerves there, but he closed it out beautifully,” said Franklin ahead of their clash against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. He added that all the bowlers are aware of the nature of the league and that high scores are the norm. “These new guys would have watched what’s going on in the IPL. The batting is hugely dynamic, it’s hugely destructive, so as a bowler or as bowling groups, it is a real challenge. But I guess with challenge comes opportunity. In the second game, Praful and Sakib succeeded beautifully against Rajasthan.”
