Jaipur: The city marked World Earth Day Wednesday with an awareness program organized by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation in collaboration with Rawat Public School.Over 700 students, municipal staff and volunteers participated in a rally promoting environmental protection. “At NRI Circle, students staged a Nukkad Natak highlighting the importance of conserving nature and adopting sustainable habits. Under the Hari-Bhari Vasudha initiative, participants presented a fashion show featuring outfits made from waste materials,” a JMC official said.The event also featured a “Save Earth” themed dance performance and a “Best Out of Waste” exhibition. Water vessels were installed for birds during the programme.The event concluded with participants taking a collective pledge to protect and preserve the environment for future generations.
